Privacy

This site is a set of plain pages. It carries no advertising and no tracking pixels, and it loads no fonts or images from anyone else’s server.

Analytics, and the choice you were given

We use Google Analytics to see which pages people read, so we know what is worth writing more of. It is the only such tool on this site.

It does not run unless you agree to it. The first time you arrived, a bar at the bottom of the screen asked. Until you press Accept, nothing is requested from Google at all: no cookie is set, no script is loaded, and no information about your visit leaves this site. If you pressed No thanks, or ignored it, that is still the case.

If you did accept, Google records the pages you looked at, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device you used. It does not tell us who you are. We have switched off the parts of it that feed advertising: nothing here is used to build an advertising profile, and this shop does not run ads that follow you around.

Your answer is remembered in your own browser’s storage, not in a cookie, so saying no does not itself leave anything behind. Clearing your browsing data resets it, and you will be asked again.

The contact form

If you fill in the form on the contact page, what you type is sent to Alex’s Auto Repair so we can answer you. That means your name, your phone number, your email address if you give one, your vehicle, and your message. We use it to reply and to work on your car. We do not sell it and we do not give it to anyone marketing to you.

The form is delivered by our hosting provider, which processes the submission in order to pass it to us.

Phone and text

If you call (720) 404-0732, your number reaches us the way any phone call does.

How long we keep things. A message sent through the form arrives as an email and stays in the shop's inbox. If you want yours deleted, ask and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call the shop on (720) 404-0732 and say so, or send it through the contact form.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
